The spirit of this organization is to turn tragedies into triumphs, one
stitch at a time. Our primary goal is to raise funds through the retail
sale of yarn, knitting supplies, and hand-knit items in our shop in
Medfield, MA and through fundraising events in people's homes. Our
nonprofit retail shop is fully staffed and managed by local volunteers,
and our knitted items are made by a growing number of volunteers from
across the country. The lives of our many volunteers are woven together
by our common goal to help those suffering from cancer and to support

The Graceful Stitches nonprofit retail shop
provides a warm and inviting atmosphere for people to purchase knitting
materials or knitted items. Shoppers feel good about their purchased
items and know their money is going to a good cause. The shop also
serves as an informal support center for people to discuss cancer
issues with people who understand.
Home Fundraising Events
Graceful Stitches also
provides people with an opportunity to host a fundraising event in
their home. The funds raised can be donated to benefit a cancer-related
cause of their choice. It can go to a cancer research fund in a loved
one's name or directly toward payment of cancer treatment bills for
someone in financial need. What a great way to show someone with cancer
how much you care. When you host a home event, you provide the guests
and the refreshments and we do the rest. Our volunteers will bring all
the necessary knitted items and knitting kits for your guests to
purchase to make it a successful fundraiser.
